Strong-willed, skin is affected by the choices of nourishment we decide to put inside of our bodies as well as external factors. The thin barrier called the acid mantle is what shields us from harmful bacteria, viruses, and other potential contaminants that might penetrate the skin. Our job is to maintain a healthy barrier function by encouraging cell turnover with gentle forms of exfoliation, hydration and most importantly a properly designed skin care routine for skin type and conditions.
